Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 5, 2026

SmartSelect Labs is reader-supported. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. It never costs you anything extra, and it helps us keep writing guides and reviews.

Amazon

As an Amazon Associate, SmartSelect Labs earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

Other programs

We also take part in affiliate programs run by other retailers and brands, including Selkirk Sport and Target. The same rule applies: you pay the same price, and we may receive a commission.

How this affects what we write

It does not change our opinions. We recommend gear because we think it is a good choice for the players we write for, not because of the commission. When we have used a product ourselves we say so; when a recommendation is based on research and player feedback rather than hands-on use, we say that too.

Advertising

This site may also show advertisements served by Google AdSense and similar networks. See our privacy policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
